Terms of Service

Deposit

Thank you for deciding to hire me as your wedding or event singer. I can’t wait to perform the soundtrack to your special day. To make things official and to secure your date, I require a deposit. This will be 25% of the agreed amount and it is non-refundable. I will send you confirmation and a receipt once payment has been received. I will hold your date for 48 hours before releasing it so in order to avoid disappointment, the deposit should be paid within the 48 hours as I can’t guarantee your date will still be available after this time.

Remaining Payment

The remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding/event by bank transfer and I will send confirmation and a receipt as soon as payment has been received.

Change of Date/Venue/Time

Should your date, venue or timings change due to any unforeseen circumstance, I will do my absolute best to accommodate you and your new requirements. However, there is no guarantee that I will have availability on your new date. If you have a change of venue and it is no longer in the Oxfordshire area then I may charge a travel fee depending on location. I also may not be able to attend the new venue if it is over 50 miles away from my location. If there is a change in time to your wedding or event, I will do my best to accommodate however due to possible other bookings on the same day I may not be able to.

Support With Equipment

I have two heavy speakers that I will need support with loading in and out of the venue and setting up which will be arranged in advance.

Refreshments

Depending on the package you have booked, I will require some refreshments. If I am booked to be at your wedding or event for 3 hours or more then I will require refreshments.

Soundcheck

I will always arrange in advance with you and the venue the time at which I will arrive in order to set up and soundcheck. This will be approximately 1.5 hours prior to my start time of the event or wedding, but this will be confirmed nearer the time. This will comfortably allow me enough time to ensure that I am happy with the sound. I will make sure all my set ups and pack downs are as quiet and discreet as possible as to not interfere with other parts of the day.

Song Choices

I will send you a link to a form on my website where you can fill in your song choices for your wedding or event. This form can be filled in any time, as long as your final form is sent back to me 6 weeks prior to the date. This allows me enough time to prepare and learn any songs that aren’t already in my repertoire, and if needed, to get bespoke backing tracks created.
